Capital Consultants, Inc. developed over the last 10 years in response to a growing need of property owners, investors and developers for better control of development costs and outcomes. In 1997 Edward Michael "Mike" Harris began helping clients concerned about cost overruns, scheduling problems and the quality of their construction projects. Clients who previously worked with E.M. Harris Construction Company and were impressed by the company's commitment to quality and cost control asked Mike for advice on other projects where quality, budget and schedule were competing for the owner's resources. Other owners and investors, seeing the outcome of these partnerships, began asking for more extensive involvement in the development and review of their projects.
